Playing to our Strengths

WMCNZ AdministratorCOVID-19, National Superintendent Update, News

Yesterday the Prime Minister announced the timing of the nationwide transition into Alert Level 2, including some staged elements which impact churches.

As a result, Wesleyan Methodist church gatherings will be extended to a MAXIMUM of 10 people from this Thursday 14 May.   Please note this is a change from the advice received from government last Thursday.

I’d appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to join me on VIDEO as we reflect on the opportunity that we have to support the country in playing it safe by playing to our strengths as Wesleyan Methodists.

We’ve also updated the Level 2 Guidelines for Wesleyan Methodist churches to reflect the new details provided today. If you have any questions or need any assistance you can contact the National Secretary, Rev Peter Benzie in the first instance.

Thanks for all you’re doing to nurture and extend the reach of our churches.

Every blessing,

Rev Brett Jones
WMCNZ National Superintendent (Acting)
